Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) finely chopped onion
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ Tbsp (7.5 ml) finely chopped jalapeno pepper
  • 1 avocado in cubes
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) finely chopped tomato
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) lime juice

Preparation

  • In a mortar, reduce the onion, jalapeno pepper and salt to puree.
  • Add the avocado and mix well. Add tomatoes and lime juice and mix.
  • Serve with low protein tortilla chips.
