It is easy to add lots of flavor to a dish without adding a lot of protein. To get there, explore the spices, herbs and ingredients available at the supermarket. If you don’t pay particular attention to seasoning, it is likely that the end result won’t be very tasty! Have fun with these simple combinations to represent the flavors of different regions of the world:
Italy: basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar
Mexico : chili powder, cumin, jalapeno, cilantro
Greece: oregano, garlic, lemon, olives
Spain: smoked paprika, tomato, pepper
Indonesia : curry, coconut, lime
